I’m thrilled to endorse John Lesinski to represent VA-5 in Congress. John is a dedicated public servant who has fought for liberty, justice, and opportunity for Virginians both as a marine and in office. His commitment to making life better for Virginians, whether by fighting climate change, creating jobs, or building infrastructure, cannot be questioned. He is precisely the leader VA-5 needs and deserves. Experience still counts.

John Lesinski is an outstanding, true blue American that brings his stellar reputation as a Marine Corps officer to the fight. His integrity and high quality of leadership has been on display in both local elected office and in his career as a businessman. I am a lifelong Republican but I support the best person for the job regardless of party. We’d be fortunate to have John represent us in Congress and he has my wholehearted support.

I have known John Lesinski for nearly forty years. We met early in our Marine Corps careers and have been close friends ever since.

As a United States Naval Academy graduate, I went on to serve as a Marine Corps Officer for over 37 years. I was fortunate to have had the responsibility of command seven times in my career. I have witnessed the highest in service, ethical leadership and character. I understand all it requires. True service comes with some level of sacrifice, giving of oneself for the betterment of others, serving those for whom you are responsible, using your position for the greater good, inspiring individuals to accomplish more than they would otherwise, and being genuinely happy meeting every challenge.

John Lesinski meets every single one of those criteria. He is a thoughtful man of character. He listens. He gets things done. If you expect more, John Lesinski will deliver.

From the moment I met John during my 2019 campaign, I was impressed by his experience, grit, and unwavering dedication to public service. John’s long record of service and leadership as a Marine Colonel and an elected official is proof of his commitment to improving the lives of Virginians in the 5th District and across our Commonwealth. I’m confident that John will lead on the pressing challenges of our time: combating climate change, improving our infrastructure, and creating jobs from Warrenton to Danville. I know he’ll make an excellent Congressman, and I’m proud to offer my support and endorsement.

When I ran for the House of Delegates in 2019, I made fighting climate change the cornerstone of my campaign, because it will create thousands of high-paying jobs across Virginia, and also help save this planet. We are living in a climate crisis and we cannot continue to kick the can down the road. That's why I'm supporting John Lesinski for Congress. Because he understands that reducing our carbon footprint and focusing on green technology is the best path forward. I hope you'll join me in supporting him.

I have known and worked with John Lesinski for a number of years and there is no better person to represent the citizens in Virginia’s 5 th District. Forged in the crucible of civic responsibility and tempered by the steel of Marine Corps leadership, John Lesinski is prepared to take on the challenge of environmental quality, creating jobs in VA-5 and improvements in our infrastructure. Semper Fi!

I strongly support and endorse John Lesinski to be the next representative from Virginia’s 5th District to our United States Congress. We need John's vision and leadership to see us through the unprecedented challenges we are facing. I have known John as a resident of rural Virginia, and as a twice elected public servant working to improve the education and educational resources of our future generations, improving local broadband services, and addressing the very local impacts of a changing climate. John knows how critical these issues and more are, and will be the leader from your home to “The Hill” we all need.

The 5th District needs a congressman with experience tackling the difficult issues facing rural and small-town Virginia. John Lesinski has proven his commitment to his country through his service in the Marine Corps and his community through his service on the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors and School Board. He has an unparalleled understanding of what it takes to solve Virginia's problems; when I ran for the House of Delegates in 2013, John was a valuable source of knowledge and expertise on a wide range of issues. He will skillfully represent the concerns of all the 5th District's citizens, from Upperville to Danville and from Lawrenceville to Charlottesville.

John has demonstrated to me that his life has been about commitment and service, not self-aggrandizement and personal benefit. His policies reflect solid, realistic, and achievable goals on Capitol Hill, not playing to the 5th District gallery with unattainable and unaffordable programs that serve no purpose other than to fire up an electoral base with false promises. Examine his proposals in a cool, calm, collected, and non-partisan way. They unite us all. Jobs for the rural community, health care, protecting the environment, infrastructure, and balancing individual rights with constructive laws based on the fundamentals of the Constitution are at the center of the Lesinski campaign.
